One year after the start of the sub-sovereign debt restructuring processes, there are already seven Argentine provinces that have closed swaps for about US $ 5.3 billion. The agreements reached so far by the provinces of Córdoba (US $ 1.685 billion), Neuquén (US $ 700 million), Río Negro (US $ 300 million), Chubut (US $ 700 million), Mendoza (US $ 530 million) and Salta (US $ 388 million) have certain similarities. They did not include capital deductions, they recognized unpaid interest, they achieved the extension of the maturity terms of the principal and they achieved a reduction in the average interest coupon. In this way, they achieved relief in payments for the next three years that ranged from US $ 60 million to US $ 320 million. At the moment there are four provinces with open negotiations: Chaco (US $ 250 million), La Rioja (US $ 200 million), Tierra del Fuego (US $ 200 million) and Buenos Aires (US $ 7.148 billion).
