The dollar prolonged the boost to the revaluation that has been showing in the last days in almost all the world before the possibility that the Federal Reserve of the United States decides to raise again the interest rates of reference for American economy this month.
Even so, its share price in the local market continued to fall, to remain below the level it had a year ago, which begins to highlight the impact of the Argentine peso's appreciation process on the official strategy of financing much of the still high fiscal deficit with external indebtedness.
On slates of banks and exchange houses, the currency fell five cents to the area of 15.70 pesos.
