Toyota announced an important investment in Argentina
USD 33 million will be allocated to the manufacture of auto parts and will replace imports by other 24 million
The auto parts company Master Trim Argentina, belonging to Toyota will invest more than USD 33 million in the next three years to increase production, for nationalize parts and to replace imports by $ 24 million annually
Company executives, belonging to the automotive holding Toyota Boshoku, presented to the Minister of Industry, Debora Giorgi, an investment plan that will exceed USD 33 million and will generate about 400 jobs.
Employers presented the new plan of investments in the country for the 2014-2016 triennium, for more than $ 33 million, which will be used for: the acquisition of machinery with the latest technology, to increase production and for the nationalization of parts.
Giorgi highlighted the company's commitment to the country and said that "Master Trim Argentina reinvested profits and thus, replaces imports, increases their presence in the market and creates jobs."
Giorgi also made available to Master Trim different credit tools and held that "this government have accompanied such strategic projects with active policies and will continue to do so".
The company will spend $ 6.8 million to build a new plant in the Industrial Park of Villa Flandria, located in the town of Jose Maria Jauregui, for the fabrication (cutting and sewing) of seat covers.
The plant will start producing between August and September 2015 and its implementation will generate 260 jobs and will replace imports by $ 24 million annually.
Managers indicated that their intention is to commercialize these products with other terminals.
