In the midst of the pressure that has been exerted by the rising price of beef, the Government issued resolution 60/2021 with new requirements for exporters of this product, in addition to those of grains and dairy. According to the measure, exporters must meet a series of requirements to register or remain in the Single Registry of Operators of the Agroindustrial Chain (RUCA). The companies must present a work plan with the merchandise and volumes to be exported, in addition to their bank movements in the last six months. In addition, they must present "proof of foreign exchange earnings, for the last year, in the case of having carried out export operations." The resolution specifies that the requirements will not apply if the exporter has its own establishment already registered in the RUCA. As indicated in the resolution, the objective would be "to avoid the entry of unfair operators" in the market.
